Our Staff
North Leigh Preschool is run by a dedicated team of staff members.
Angela Buckingham
Angela is our Manager and is one of the Designated Safeguarding Leads.
With a career in Early Years since 1993, Angela holds Early Years' Professional Status and a BA (Hons) Degree in Early Childhood Studies.
Additionally, Angela has experience as an assessor and tutor for level 2 and 3 Early Years qualifications, and she was involved in the 'Leaders of Early Learning' initiative with Oxfordshire County Council.
Mandy Hale
Mandy is a senior staff member and one of our Designated Safeguarding Leads.
Mandy has been involved in Early education since 2006 and holds a Level 3 qualification in Children and Young People's Workforce, along with a Level 2 qualification in Play Work.
Prior to this, Mandy worked at North Leigh School as an assistant at North Leigh After School Club from 2000 to 2013. She is also a mother to two grown children.
Emily Busby
Emily is our Deputy Manager
Emily joined the group September, 2025.
She is an experienced Level 3 Early Years Practitioner with previous deputy experience.

Emily also has designated Safeguarding Lead experience.

Emily has a keen interest in child psychology.
Zoe Murphy
Zoe is an early years assistant
Zoe was a member of our management committee when her daughter was with us!
In that role, she stepped in to help whenever needed, and we quickly realized just how amazing she is with the children.
We're thrilled to have her on board as a playworker every morning from Monday to Friday!
Rebecca Villadsen
Rebecca is our SEN Coordinator and Language Lead.
Becca holds a Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification and has been involved in early years education since 2016.
Her expertise in Special Educational Needs is a significant asset to our setting. In her role as Language Lead, Rebecca utilises the WellComm Speech and Language Toolkit for Early Years to and enhance children's development.
Leigh Abbott
Leigh is our administrator
Leigh previously held the position of Treasurer of our Management Committee for several years when her three boys attended the setting.
She brings her experience of accounts and book-keeping to the team along with her creativity and organisational skills.
