We are now taking admission applications for September 2026.

Admissions
We arrange our waiting list in birth order. In addition, our policy may take into account the following:
-
the vicinity of the home to the setting of child/main carer; (our catchment area is the Parish of North Leigh)
-
and
-
siblings already attending the setting/North Leigh Primary School.

We are flexible about attendance patterns to accommodate the needs of individual children and families, providing these do not disrupt the pattern of continuity in the setting that provides stability for all the children.
To enable a child to build secure attachments with their key person, plus develop relationships with other children, we ask that a child attends a minimum of two pre-school sessions a week – ideally spaced out.
Familiar faces and home-from-home routines are especially important for younger children to build a bond with their key person, and this stability is easier to establish with multiple pre-school sessions.

If you would like to apply for a place, please complete and return the Waiting List/Admission form to North Leigh Pre-school, Park Road, North Leigh OX29 6SS
or email the form to us: northleighpre-school@outlook.com

Parents can use their eligible funded hours to cover any of the sessions their child attends.

This includes breakfast club, morning session, lunch club and afternoon sessions. There are no restrictions or additional charges associated with accessing the full 15 or 30 hours.
Any additional hours attended above funding entitlement will be charged.

A continuous full day, without breakfast club, includes a morning session, lunch club and afternoon session equalling 31.25 hours a week. This leaves a fee to pay for quarter of an hour per day.
Parents wanting to use their 30 hours Working Parents funding entitlement only, can choose for their child to attend from 9.00am, instead of 8.40am, until 3.00pm.
